Fiber and Starch are both carbohydrates. Starch is easy to digest and found in white bread, potato french fries, and white rice. Fiber is more difficult to digest and found in foods like beans, and berries. Starch are often called simple carbohydrates. When we eat starch like potatoes or even bread it is easily broken down into sugars. Sugars effect the energy in your blood and hormones, more than complex carbohydrates.
